Re: C Music Fest

You're right, Joni. I'll calm down...but promise me you'll be front row with me for Taylor Swift at next year's event. We can paint big 13's on our hand and make signs and everything! It will be oh-so-much-fun. I'll bring the wine.

Re: C Music Fest

That is great news! I'm sure it was a nice sigh of relief for local business owners. I'm just surprised that the CMA has not announced the dates and tickets for next year's event - they usually do that during the last night and it's usually already sold out by the next day. I wonder why they are hol...

Re: What did you think? (CMT Awards)

I think everyone was a little drunk. Kid Rock sucked as a host. He got wasted as the night progressed. The dialogue for some of the presenters (like Paula Deen, Snookie and The Situation) seemed really forced and it was bad writing. And I can't find one person who enjoyed Melissa Peterman's backstag...

Re: CMT Awards

Heck, I'm actually looking forward to seeing the presenters this year. Paula Deen is a HOOT and I'd like to see what kind of a hot mess those Jersey Shore kids will be. It should be an interesting show!

Re: CMT Awards

I have no idea why they chose Kid Rock as the host, but I guess it will draw people in to see if he has anything controversial to say...they better get the "bleep" button ready. The John Mayer/Keith Urban duet will be awesome and I'm looking forward to LeAnn Rimes' performance of "Swingin'" - I hear...

Re: Alan's Crib

I have seen pictures of the house and it's a HUGE gorgeous place...but unless this guy has a ton of money to blow, I can't see it being worth the upkeep. Sounds like I need to be in the business he's in...who knew wrecked cars could bring in enough $$ to buy a $28 million mansion?

Re: Mindy McCready

Lindsay Lohan. One of the most read stories on People.com yesterday was that she dyed her hair blonde again. Who the hell cares???

Oh, and Jon & Kate Gosselin. I'd be just fine if I never heard anything about them anymore.

Re: Chely Belly

I am so over this. I hate when people make a big deal about people "coming out." I could care less what gender she prefers. It's really about the music when it comes down to it. And she hasn't had a hit in years, so why does she think she needs to "come out" to get back in the spotlight? It's a horr...

Re: Court Yard Hounds

Joni, that is ridiculous. What is Billboard THINKING?! Uncle Kracker, Kid Rock, Miley...no WAY are they Country, especially when you put them up against the CYH. Ugh, what is this world coming to....

Blake & Miranda

Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert are finally gettin' hitched....they are seriously the perfect country couple...aside from George & Tammy, Conway & Loretta, Porter & Dolly... They're probably going to be one of the few couples who register at Bass Pro Shops, Wal-Mart, Cracker Barrel, etc. And I love ...
