Olympics

How were the Olympics as a topic for sports radio this time around?

I did hear talk about hockey, and the women's hockey drinking thing got some morning show play, but listening to sports radio over the last few weeks, it seemed like business as usual. Not that I'm complaining -- I care more about baseball and football and basketball than I'll ever care about the Olympics -- but it seems like a parallel universe of sports, as far as sports radio is concerned. That's understandable for, say, figure skating, but do the Olympics appeal at all to the traditional sports radio listener?

I doubt it. And I'd rather hear Spring Training and college hoops talk anyway.
