Rock Radio is Alive!
Rock radio is alive and well at RXP in New York. Where they "gasp" let the jocks actually select what they want to play!
Leslie Fram did it with 99x in Atlanta and now she is showing the corporate radio suits how its done once again.
Want to fall in love with radio again, and hear it done the right way? Check out the stream at RXP New York. http://www.1019rxp.com/

Re: Rock Radio is Alive!
What's important to note is that it is corporate radio (Emmis) who is willing to let Leslie and the team build this station slowly and organically. The first station in year's to actually embrace what FM rock radio was all about in the early days and bring that mindset into the 21st century!

Re: Rock Radio is Alive!
Great station indeed. Although technically classified by Mediabase as Triple A. Any thoughts on that? Are lines being blurred by some of these stations or do we feel that Triple A falls under the broader umbrella of Rock?
